Peridot Beads

Peridot is one among the few gemstones that are found to exhibit only one color, a beautiful Olive-green. Peridot is the National gem of Egypt. The old Egyptians mined peridot on the Red Sea island of Zabargad, the hotspot for some extensive fine peridots in the world’s museums. Today it is still prized for its soothing yellowish-green tints. Other legends acknowledge peridot for bringing joy and optimism, positivity, and strengthening the eyes. Peridot is the birthstone for August and the fifteenth commemoration gemstone.
