Freshwater Pearls are refined in a similar procedure to the South Sea Pearls just in mussel shells not the Oyster shell. Freshwater Pearls come in different hues from whites, pinks, creams and darker colours. Freshwater Pearls likewise come in an assortment of shapes and sizes from 2-3mm buttons and seeds to 16mm. Additionally it comes in different color from white, pink, cream and some darker colors. The most widely recognized and most popular shapes are the drops and Keshi (freestyle) shapes.
