About the Stone..
The word Iolite is derived from Greek word meaning “ Violet” and is made of silicate of aluminum, iron, and magnesium. Like many other gemstones, Iolite is also pleochroic i.e displays different shades of violet to yellow and gray when viewed from different angles.Iolite is a stone of the muses, activating the visionary, creative side of the mind and helps in recovering balance.
