About the Stone..
When a stone exhibits the property of both Amethyst and Citrine both of which is a variety of Quartz then it is called Ametrine or Amethyst-Citrine. The only source of this unique gemstone is the Anahi mine in Bolivia. Ametrine is said to cure depression and helps to bring peace and calmness. Because it is part Amethyst and part Citrine it can be used as a birthstone for November and February.
